Mission statement

The Borderless Tech Association (BTA) is a tech nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting open-source and transparent scientific research of emerging technologies. We aim to achieve this by providing donations and grants to developers and scientists in Switzerland and abroad, with a focus on or in Switzerland, the southern countries of Europe, and the Balkan region. We require all supported developments and research results to be published under an open-source license and freely available to anyone.

Vision Statement

Our vision is to create a world where decentralized technologies, with values of trustlessness, freedom, and censorship-resistance, are developed and used for the benefit of all people, regardless of their geographic location or economic status. We believe that by supporting the development of new and innovative technologies based on these values, we can contribute to building a more equitable and sustainable future. We are committed to fostering an ecosystem of trustless, decentralized applications and platforms that empower individuals to control their own data, assets, and identities without relying on centralized authorities. Our mission is to promote the adoption of these technologies and to educate people about their benefits, so that everyone can take advantage of the opportunities they offer.
